Though Jonathan Hoefler and Tobias Frere-Jones (at the time this post was written) are in a civil war, their work and talents in the world of typography has had a massive influence in our culture of design. I’ve been a fan for years since my Art School days (and unknownly) used their typefaces in numerous pieces since the early 2000’s. Though, it’s sad they have parted ways, their legacy both will live on through their standing foundry.
